About the camp
The Cascades Summer Camp offers a classic outdoor summer camp experience, filled with games, activities, friendships, and plenty of time spent paddling and enjoying the beautiful Gatineau River. The best place for kids to spend their summer!
Our campers are grouped by age and supervised by attentive and compassionate counsellors. We spend the morning at the clubhouse property playing games to foster teamwork and athletic skills and doing crafts and creative activities to engage the imagination. In the afternoons we spend time at the Club’s waterfront on the Gatineau River, where campers swim, play, and paddle!
Details
Our program is a weekly day camp that is intended for kids aged 6-12 (campers must be age 6 by the 14th of August, 2026). We can have up to four camp groups per week, which are organized by age. Each group will have two counsellors or one counsellor and a counsellor in training, and groups are capped at 14 campers. Camp is offered during eight weeks of the summer and does not run on Statutory Holidays or weekends.
Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Week 1: June 22 - June 26 (4 day week* - no camp on June 24 holiday)
Week 2: June 29 - July 3 (4 day week* - no camp on July 1 holiday)
Week 3: July 6 - July 10
Week 4: July 13 - July 17
Week 5: July 20 - July 24
Week 6: July 27 - July 31
Week 7: August 3 - August 7
Week 8: August 10 - August 14
*Price is prorated for 4 day weeks
Before & After Care
Need a little extra time at the start or end of your day? Our Before & After Care program offers supervised, low-key fun for campers outside regular camp hours. Available from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, this service is perfect for busy families.
Please note: There is no camp or Before & After Care on June 24 and July 1 due to statutory holidays.
2026 Prices
Members: $385.00 per week
Non-members: $453.00 per week
*Members of the Cascades Club receive a discount on camp as part of their membership benefits.
Weekly Rates for Before and After Care:
$50.00 for a single child ($40.00 on 4-day weeks)
$75.00 for multiple children from the same family ($61 on 4-day weeks)
The Cascades Club believes that every child should have the right to paddle and / or attend camp, therefore we are introducing a new financial assistance program for anyone needing financial support for one of the Cascades Club’s paddling camps and / or summer camps.
